Sake and mackerel sushi
I went back to my parents' house from Friday night to yesterday. The purpose was to attend Noriyuki Makihara's 35th anniversary concert. The day before the concert, October 25th, was the anniversary of his debut in Osaka, Maki's hometown, so I really wanted to go. I know someone who understands, right? You don't want to put it on resale, do you?
Since the night was booked, and since it takes 2 hours from my parents' house to Osaka City Hall, I could hardly do anything else, so I had mackerel sushi in the gap. Saba Sushi is one of my five favorites at my favorite restaurant in Kawaramachi. I went for Oroku because it is available for lunchtime drinking. I know the portions are small and the price is high, but I wanted to relax at least when I was eating.
The portion is small, so I eat it in small portions. The bitterness is strong, so I think this was the best way to drink it. The vinegar in the mackerel sushi is sweet red vinegar, but it goes perfectly with the soup stock in the mushroom noodle soup. It was delicious 🩷.
The third one is an autumn-only parfait I had at Pierre Marcolini in Osaka. This one was delicious too 🤎.
