I couldn't stop thinking about the label that looks like this face 😆.
I finally found it: ⤴️
They had a lineup of regular sake, but I was told that the summer sake ogara-mi is only available at this time of the year! I was told that I could have the summer sake without knowing about the regular one 😋.
You can feel the rich rice flavor!
But the aftertaste is refreshing!
The ori is only a little bit, so it's slightly cheery!
Umami 😋😋.
I was told by the shopkeeper that it goes well with thick flavored simmered dishes,
So I paired it with simmered fish.
I was told by the restaurant staff that this sake goes well with strong flavored simmered dishes, so I paired it with simmered fish 🐟.
But with sake on its own, the umami of rice tends to bore me 😆😍.
I think it's a good idea to have a strong flavored side dish for a strong sake.
I'm learning a lot 😂.
