Here is the last sake of the year!
This is Takasago from Kiyamasa Shuzo, the brewer of that Jikin! I am happy to finish the year with such a great sake following the Jikin the other day 😆.
The top aroma is rather subdued, but it has a refreshing citrusy aroma. In the mouth, the crisp, clear, citrusy and refreshing flavor is prevalent, while the very elegant acidity lingers beautifully and finishes off nicely. This is delicious 😋 I can't hide my amazement that the first sip is gone before I know it!
Looking back on this year, I have encountered so many great sake. I hope to see more great sake next year!

Good evening, Ankake. ‼️ This is a wonderful drink to end the year with! I also drank it for the first time and loved it! Both Jikin and Takasago are hard to find, but it would be great to drink them again. ‼️
