Today is the Fall Festival🌾 in the town where I live.
It was the first time in four years that the festival was held in Corona, and I could hear the sounds of musical performances and portable shrines being carried from mid-afternoon onwards 😊.
Well, it's evening and everyone is gathering at my parents' house for dinner 😋.
However, my dad was on rotating duty at the shrine, so he brought out this for a quick drink 🍶.
Senpuku Yukihana-Usagi Junmai Ginjo Unfiltered Harajuku.
He bought it because a nearby liquor store started selling "Sempuku" 😅 last year.
He left it in the fridge for almost a year and opened it recently, I wonder what it's like!
The aroma is of moist rice, the mouthfeel is clean and tasty, with a sharpness from the acidity, and a lingering sourness that lingers at the bottom of the full aftertaste.
It seems to have been well preserved as it doesn't seem to have aged too long 😁.
I have a little connection with "Senpuku" and it might be a good choice to thank the Ujigami for the fruit of the year 🤔.
Unfortunately it started raining during the festival, but my daughters were very interested in their first festival 😊.

Good evening, Pon-chan 🌛.
It was a long-awaited festival, but it was a great success even though it was a small shrine 😁.
It's a good idea to put the sake you can't finish drinking in the fridge for now.

Good evening, Jay & Nobby 🌛.
We have a small but historic shrine in our town, so we are quite enthusiastic about festivals and such ✨.
It's a remnant of a big party once a year instead of a lot of entertainment like in the countryside 😁.
