After running some errands in the next town, I went to a liquor store 🍶.
I knew it existed, but this was my first encounter with it ❗I had mistakenly remembered it as "Garakudai" back in the day 😅.
Sasaki Shuzo in Kyoto is the brewer of Sasaki Kuranosuke's family's "Ancient Capital" 🤔.
I thought it was a different brand ‼️
It's a very refreshing sake, but also has a strong sake taste! I've been wanting to eat seafood and yakitori as an entrée, so it's also good for during a meal ✨.

I've only had this brand of sake 💦 maybe it's named after the brewery right next to Nijo castle 😊I'd like to try the old capital next time 😁.
