I started this year by drinking at home with Osechi and Zoni at home: ▶️
We don't usually drink at home, so we don't have much alcohol on hand.
So we started drinking with what we have 🍶.
I got an otter three years ago on a trip to Yamaguchi, and it has been quietly waiting for this moment in the fridge at home!
Last year I didn't drink any Otters even though I saw Sake no Wawa, so it's been a long time since I've had one. ‼️
It was Junmai Daiginjo 45, but it was quite a deep and heavy sake!
We drank it in order, and then my wife and I had a sake party at home!
We celebrated the New Year with gold leaf in the shape of the character for Shinshin SY on the sake cup 🥳.

My first sake was Tasake, Happy New Year 🪅 as I hardly drink at home. I still have a lot of Hana-yosu left over from a gift from a junior colleague. I will start drinking outside on the 6th, the first day of work, and Hakodate Minshina on the 7th.

Next time I have the chance to visit Hakodate, I would like to go to Misina-san! The first time I went to Hakodate, the person at the restaurant where I had lunch told me about Saheiji III, so I went there.
