In search of cranes] We had a series of crane sake by chance, Manazuru and Mikotsuru, and here we have cranes again. Last year, I visited the brewery and found one of my favorite brands, Kurikomayama. Chida Shuzo's former brand name was Okutsuru. A remnant of the name can be seen on the label.
This hiyaoroshi is sweet and light, perhaps because it is made from Sasanishiki. It is hard to believe that it is 17%. It goes in easily. It's good, it's good, it's good. Tsuru-oi is now closed for a while. Next, the turtle?

Thanks, Wakata. I have relatives in Kurikoma and it is a familiar place, though I rarely go there. Sake is Fukushima and Akita. Imoni may be hidden behind Yamagata, but Miyagi is good!
