The other day, Kami and I went to Ondo-cho, Kure City, located on Kurahashi Island, to eat UDON, and this is the brand we purchased during that trip.
The brewery is located in Kurahashi-cho on the same island.
It is a small sake brewery with a production of about 50 koku, which explains why you don't see it very often in Hiroshima City.
Polishing ratio 65
Alcohol content 15
100% Hachitan-Nishiki used
The aroma is fresh and slightly fruity.
It has a slightly dry finish with umami, acidity that is not too assertive, and a soft feeling.
It has a classic, old-fashioned taste, but it was easy to drink and easy to pair with food 😊.
The photo shows the 1st Ondo Ohashi Bridge connecting Kure City and Kurahashi Island, and the 2nd Ondo Ohashi Bridge that opened not too long ago (more than 10 years ago).
The loop road from the 1st Ondo Ohashi to the island left a great impression on me as a child and I was excited every time I passed by it 😄.

Good morning, Jay & Nobby 😃.
Hiroshima is a very attractive city, and the islands of the Seto Inland Sea are also very attractive.
There are a few islands with bridges that can be reached by car 🚗.
Kurahashi Island is also home to Hana Hato's sake brewery 😊.
