Today we opened the main sake of this year's Awamatsuri, Flax Cat Sparkling 😀.
Ack! Delicious 😀
This is the first time for me to taste the Flax Cat Sparkling, and as everyone has commented, it is really delicious 😀!
By the way, the wife's comment was... here we go... this is not sake... it's a superb champagne... 😀
She says it's the best sparkling sake she's ever had 😀.
But it's hard to serve the bubbly that's still left 😅 if they say that much.

We thought we liked nigori sake, but this sparkling drinking comparison has made us realize that we love strong, shwashy sake, including nigori sake 😀.

Flax cat spark really isn't a sake 🤣 even if it's not nigori, a shwashy sake is refreshing and easy to drink 😋I'm looking forward to the new sake season with a lot of micro bubbles 😌.
