Tottori Sake was available for a little over 1,000 yen at a major online special sale, even though it is a daiginjo.
But the production date is 1.5 years ago 😥.
After getting myself together, I poured it into a sake cup and was surprised to find a fruity ginjo aroma 😊.
It has a refreshing sweetness and acidity on the palate, a low alcohol content and a fairly refreshing feeling, and it has a nice sharpness that went well with fried food as a side dish!
The deterioration of the sake quality was not a cause for concern, it was delicious in its own way. ☺️
