I bought it at a local liquor store, thankfully through PayPay's 30% back campaign. It's a "Takao no Tengu Shiboritate Genshu (limited release)" made in Nagano using rice grown in Hachioji, Tokyo.
As I am not a strong drinker, I thought the freshly squeezed sake was too strong, but it tasted great. My face turned bright red immediately! 😵
I heard that the non-shiboritate sake, Takao no Tengu, won the Gold Award in the "Best Sake in a Wine Glass" category.
The liquor store owner lamented that it was no match for the famous cheap ⚫︎K supermarket in our neighborhood. It makes me want to support them.
