JIRO
Sakaki-Masamune by Yokouchi Shuzo, brewed by Taikan Shuzo (This is a rare brewer with two breweries living together on the premises, but this is a rare sake that can only be purchased at a direct sales outlet).
This is the second bottle I purchased in a three-bottle set at a direct sales outlet of a brewery in Minami-Alps City, Yamanashi.
I chilled it well and took a sip. It is mellow and full-bodied in the mouth. It is mellow in the mouth and quickly finishes. All Sakaki Masamune has a clean aftertaste and disappears like a vanish (I've only had two bottles).
The spiciness and bitterness are moderate. A slight iodine-like aroma is noticeable in the nose.
As it nears room temperature, the initial mellowness disappears and the sake becomes mild and light.
It is a sake to be enjoyed as a marriage with snacks rather than as a sake by itself.
I also bought a bottle of Taikan, which is brewed by the same brewery, so I would like to compare them later.
