In Takamatsu, we enjoyed a combination of olive yellowtail and wine cocktail, and the classic chicken on the bone and beer pairing! And the post-drinking Sanuki Udon noodles were exceptional as well✨.
While soaking up the afterglow, we continued with Sakura Horyo!
Upon opening the bottle, the aroma was fragrant with spices, nuts, and honeyed apples.
The mouthfeel is clean and round.
The beginning has a grain-like, fluffy sweetness and a firm, rice-like umami. From there, there is a powerful triple attack of spicy, acidic, and astringent flavors!
It leaves a lingering astringent aftertaste, but it goes down smoothly, making it easy to pair with an accompaniment (jakoten)!
When I woke up, I found myself in a familiar view of Tokyo. It was truly a dreamlike moment.
