Next, we chose "Mimosa Fragrance Island" from Shodoshima Shuzo, which we drank last year, but not last year😊.
The most important feature of this sake is its low alcohol content (8%) and its surprisingly large sweetness (-68 on the sake scale), yet it has a fine balance that does not make you feel that it is sweet.
Very fruity and gorgeous aroma, like a high quality fruit juice, sweet and happy. ✨️
Even though it is a sweet wine, it is not unpleasantly sweet that lingers afterwards, and the acidity gives it a nice crispness, making it a perfect substitute for dessert wine after a meal.
It does not contain mimosa, but was created with an image of it.
Combined with the sparkling label, I felt it was a sake for everyone!
