This sake is the first one on the right.
As it is claimed to be a sake exclusively for mackerel, it was an excellent match with mackerel. It has just the right amount of spiciness and umami, and its crisp and refreshing taste drained away the fat from the mackerel.
It did not interfere with the mackerel, but enhanced its deliciousness.
It is a food sake that would go well with other dishes. I would rather drink it with a meal, especially mackerel, than on its own.
