It is not citrusy, and I can't think of the right word to describe it, but it has a characteristic acidity.
The umami is not very broad or full. Other than a slight bitterness in the aftertaste, there is not much of an alcohol taste, and for better or worse, the overall taste is dry.
It's easy to pair with food, but it's not my favorite.
