A bottle I bought on a trip to Shimane at the end of last year.
This is "Kei" by Oroku.
It may be out of the royal road of Oroku, but....
The aroma is woody, similar to cypress.
The mouthfeel is clear and not habitual.
It leaves a bit of a tangy feeling at the back of the throat.
It's a refreshing sake that doesn't interfere with food.

The older it is, the more mellow it seems to get. The older it is, the more mellow it becomes. You can get almost all types of Ousachi at Yokozeki Shuppo.

Whenever I go to Yorozeki, I tend to look around and have not been able to buy the Oroku until now.

The 2013 Junmai Kei is the best. The nigori is also interesting👌.
