Atago no matsu is made from a new type of sake rice called Gin no Iroha.
The aroma is subdued.
It has a faint rice aroma, sweetness, and a slight alcoholic taste, but it has a moderate acidity and a refreshing mouthfeel.
The bitterness that lingers in the back of the mouth is also a nice touch. You will not get tired of drinking it.
This is Atago no matsu as expected.
It is a perfect sake to drink while eating. It is a delicious sake.
It does not betray your expectations.
