Here is the first sake of the new year 2026.
This nigori sake is made by straining the fermented unrefined sake mash (moromi) through a coarse cloth just before the top vatting, which makes it look like it is puking in the bottle.
It has a strong flavor and is refreshingly dry.
I am going to drink a lot of delicious sake this year, too!

I would like to try Igarashi Sake Brewery, but I see this one is dry nigori ๐, seems to go well with food ๐.
