kagiya 2024 autumn tasting (5)
This is the last tasting.
Kuroryu Ishidaya
The aroma is mild, and although it seems to have been aged for 2 years, there is almost no sense of aging, and it can be drunk without any unpleasant taste. It has a slightly sour to slightly sweet taste on the tongue, and after swallowing, it has a little bit of sake taste.
When it is cold, you can feel a slight stimulation on the tongue, so like Nizaemon, it is better to drink it at higher temperatures to expand the umami and give it a milder aftertaste.
Both Kuroryu and Nizaemon seem to be made with a lot of care and attention, which explains why bouken-san said, "I can see why they are served at high-class restaurants.
Among the rare sake from Kuroryu, I might like 88, Junmai Daiginjo, and Shizuku.
Whatever, I googled "what is pre-sake" and the generating AI told me that it is "also called aperitif or aperitif, a cocktail that is drunk before a meal to stimulate the appetite.
I didn't know pre-drink meant that 🤔.
After the tasting, bouken-san and I cruised around liquor stores and department stores in a life-threatening rainstorm and headed home 🤣.

Good evening, Nemuchi-san. When I was young, Ishidaya was like Shinsei today, and I have the impression that the stores with the blue bottles on display had good sake, but the great thing is that it tastes great even now 😊.
