After seeing the special exhibition at the Tokyo National Museum in Ueno, we walked to the sake shop Sanwa (it was closed) and Okachimachi, and then we went to the Hegi Soba restaurant near Suehirocho station for lunch.
We used to go to this restaurant near the south exit of Okachimachi station, but it had moved.
The color of Niigata is rich in sake and snacks including Hegi Soba.
The first sake was Kenshin Junmai, which was recommended to go with Hegi Soba.

However, this is a deep-flavored junmai-shu that you can taste calmly. It is a good sake.
Finished one glass before the Hegi Soba arrived 😅.
