Today I will be having Miyakanbai, a sake limited to Miyagi Prefecture, at home 🙏.
The aroma is fresh and slightly sweet with a soft aroma of rice.
The color is slightly cloudy with a hint of orikura mixed in,
The mouthfeel is surprisingly smooth, perhaps due to the fire-roasting process.
The first taste is sweetness, followed by a slight sourness and umami!
It is very tasty and easy to drink with just a hint of bitterness and a crisp finish.
It paired well with sashimi and seared squid to eliminate the fishy smell, and I drank it in one gulp and finished the four-pack in no time 😱.
