This is the first nigori for me. It is also the first time for Kangiku. It has a slightly effervescent taste. The sweetness of rice like amazake comes in a sizzle and stimulates the tongue, while the acidity and gentle bitterness finish it off. It is not sweet and heavy, as is common with nigori, but smooth and delicious! Silky is the perfect word to describe it.
