Not at a sake party, but at a university alumni meeting, two bottles were offered to me by a senior student from Fukushima. Usually it is Daishichi, but this time it was Hirotogawa's sake. It is said to be stable and delicious and highly regarded even in Fukushima. I was already aware of this as Mr. Hirotogawa, the head of the Hirotogawa Department, recommends it here, but hearing it directly from ordinary sake drinkers makes me feel its value even more. The fruity flavor from the gorgeous daiginjo-like aroma is delicious, and is a very popular bottle.
