Second day of our silver wedding trip
First, we took the Ichibata Train from Matsue to Izumo-taisha-mae.
Lake Shinji is beautiful and shows its face from time to time.
Unfortunately, it was raining 😅
We took our time to visit Izumo-taisha Shrine.
The shrine grounds are spacious with a long approach, and each building, including the main shrine, the hall of worship, and the Kaguraden (Shinto music and dance hall), has a unique dignity.
I have visited the shrine many times, and each time I feel a sense of pride and dignity.
It is something that appeals to the DNA of the Japanese people. ❗️
After visiting the shrine, we took a walk along the approach to the shrine and boarded the Ichibata train again.
This time, I took the train to Izumoichi and changed to the JR limited express Yakumo 🚝.
The ride on the Yakumo lasted only 40 minutes.
But of course I was thirsty after all the walking 😁.
Yamasan Masamune, Junmai sake in a city cup
I kept it in the hotel fridge until the last minute, but as expected, it was warm when I opened it on the train in the late afternoon😅.
Now, let's get ready for the Yakumo Limited Express train to depart from Izumo City Station. ❗️
The aroma is strong alcohol, but when you sip it, the acidity is very pleasant, even though it's at room temperature: ❗️
It's a very pleasant drink, and it goes down quickly.
I think I like this one a lot. ❤️

My best friend forever, Mr. Chichi.
Good morning ^ ^
My wife and I have talked about visiting Izumo-taisha shrine 😊.
I have the impression that some cups of sake are strong in alcohol, but this one looks delicious✨.

I've always wanted to try Yamasan Masamune, Izumo's local sake.
