I had no hesitation in purchasing this sake, which is brewed by Nishi Shuzo, famous for its sweet potato shochu Tominohouzan.
It is very easy to drink, with a light acidity followed by a sweet fruit juice-like flavor. It has a strong shochu image, so I expected it to be spicy, but was pleasantly surprised. It is a junmai ginjo, but it is so fruity and sweet that you would not know it was a daiginjo. It is a junmai ginjo, but it is so fruity and sweet that you cannot tell it is a daiginjo.
