Yamagata & Niigata Bullet Tour (2) 😄
Then we drove and arrived at Niigata Murakami city! First, we went to a local liquor store before visiting a sake brewery. We went to Sake no Kadoya-san, which was highly rated on the internet! When we entered the store, there were already a lot of Niigata's sake. And all of them are from my favorite sake brewery 😄 Some of them you can't buy in Miyagi! I was really excited as I made my selections.
So I started with this one! Ayu Masamune. This is a sake brewery that is hard to buy in Miyagi. I had enjoyed this sake at the Niigata Sake-no-jin before! This time we get the first ayu. It is a ginjo-style raw sake like the previous Hatsuson. The aroma is mild, with a hint of freshly cooked rice and greens. When you drink it, it has a light, elegant, umami taste with a refreshing finish. This one is milder and more umami than the previous Hatsusun. This sake is very tasty and to my liking.
