I got some cod sprouts and was thinking 🤔 what to pair them with, so I chose this one👍 after reading the comments 📝 on sake-no-wa.
The color is like a spring haze. The aroma is fresh, with a hint of sourness, like calpis.
It is smooth in the mouth. However, it is less sweet and more refreshing than I expected. It might be good on a hot day like today.
With spring tempura. I think the cod sprouts were the best match. The texture is firmer than I expected and the bitterness brings out the sweet and savory taste of this sake. ❗️Yah 😅Next is the asparagus and last is the udo. I think udo is a bit strong by itself. But it's delicious though 😃.
Rice: 100% Yamadanishiki produced in Shiga prefecture.
