Happy New Year! I went back to my parents' house and celebrated New Year's with my family.
The first bottle of the New Year is a daiginjo from Kagatsuta. It is a crisp, clean, dry sake with a surprisingly moderate sweetness. I don't usually drink daiginjo, but I enjoyed it with sukiyaki, which is appropriate for the New Year.
I hope to spend another year in good health so that I can enjoy sake with great relish.
