The end of the year's agony is in sight, and my partner is back home, so today I went to Katamachi, a downtown area in Fukui, to have a leisurely walk and drink by myself after a long time.
I went to a Japanese restaurant in search of sake while quenching my thirst with beer!
Hakugakusen Junmai Sharikuchi Shinben from Yasumoto Shuzo!
The plump umami and slight sweetness to the lush aftertaste and freshness was a personal hit 🎵.
The first dish was dried Sugamo seaweed, which had a strong aroma of the sea when you put it close to your nose.
This is good 👍
To be honest, I could always have some Hakudakesen Shinben and Sugamo for drinking at home 😆.

I actually didn't know about Sugamo myself 😅I heard it tastes even better when lightly roasted✨.
Fukui is a little bit Galapagosized and there is not much information about sake outside of the prefecture, so I'm getting a lot of help from you and others!
