It is quite thick and honey-like sweet. From there it is flat and disappears with an astringent taste. Fruity and sweet, but with a unique taste. The aroma on the nose is very ethyl caproate.
Maybe it's bad that I bought one that was 5 months old at Yamaya, but it's showing a bit of aging. I don't think this type of sake is suitable for an aged taste.
I have never had a good match with Fukuju, but I think this sake would probably be fine if drunk in fresh conditions.
