BacchusNY
First report of the year. A lot happened at the beginning of the year. This one, with a special zodiac sign label, is my companion for tonight. When the bottle is opened, the ginjo aroma is pleasant. It makes you feel gorgeous. In the mouth, it is full of freshness, with a little bit of a squashy taste. It finishes with a moderate sweetness followed by a pleasant acidity. When paired with broccoli/aurola sauce, the sweetness and acidity of the sake are masked, transforming it into a refreshingly dry wine. After the dill pickles, the sweetness is intensified and it tastes great! The acidity in the aftertaste washes away the fat from the fried food I bought, which is also irresistible. The mustard on top of the fried food increases the sweetness of the sake, and the glass empties quickly. The main dish of the evening was a simple sushi dish of white rice topped with sashimi and freshly squeezed yuzu juice. Drizzled with a little soy sauce, it enhances the flavor of the sake and is a great way to finish off the meal. I love rice wine!

Jay & Nobby,
Thank you for your comments! I enjoyed the zodiac bottle so much that I went back to the store, but they were sold out. Too bad! You must try the sashimi bowl with yuzu on top!
