Tasted here also at Hanshin Department Store.
All three brands are made from Miyamanishiki.
Chikuma Nishiki Junmai Ginjo
The standard was the Junmai Ginjo. It had a rich, full-bodied taste, with a strong sweetness and umami flavor, and a slight rustic aftertaste.
Activated Junmai Nama Nama Sake, as squeezed.
I think they said it was a seasonal made-to-order.
It was a bit acidic, but not too strong.
Hatsushibori-Hatsu Shibori Dry Special Junmai Harajuku
This is also a seasonal product.
The sake is a little high in alcohol (17%) and has a sake strength of about +6, but it is not too spicy and is very refreshing.
Chikuma-Nishiki is sold at a one-coin price because Donki purchased and ordered a quantity of 10,000 bottles.

Good evening, Nemuchi-san 🦉.
Donkey Chikumagari Nishiki, that was never a funny thing 😊But still, 10,000 bottles is amazing! 100-200 koku is about the size of a small brewery 😳.

Hi Pon, I felt sorry for Chikuma Nishiki at Donki, but on the contrary, I'm glad that they purchased a large number of them 😁It sure is amazing that they can stock up on 10,000s of them 😆.
