Ishikawa rice: 100% Ishikawa-mon
The color is clear.
The aroma is banana-like.
On the palate, it tastes like melon, then cream soda.
It has a Yamahai-like feel to it, but is quite subdued. If you look closely, you will see "Modern Yamahai" written on the back. I see what you mean.
When it is poured into a glass and reaches near room temperature, the sweetness comes out. The acidity is also reduced. I think I prefer this one.
The slightly carbonated nature of this sake makes it fresh and crisp 🍶.
