Chiba sake, which is hard to find in Osaka and Fukuoka.
The rarity is somewhat high.
It was sold refrigerated, so it was served cold.
As the name suggests, it has an umami flavor, but the spiciness gradually comes to the surface.
The spiciness lessens as the palate becomes accustomed to it over the course of several sips, but the robust umami of the rice continues to be present.
We recommend drinking it with meat dishes or strong flavored food.
It is also delicious hot, so next time I would like to try it hot.
Suitable for intermediate level sake drinkers.
