It's been a long time since I've had Kamo Nishiki's kafuda sake.
When it first became famous, I bought and drank it in succession.
However, at that time, I did not have time to enjoy the differences, and I gave up because of the large number of varieties before I could grasp what Kamo Nishiki's character was. It has been a long time since then.
The aroma is banana-like, covered in magic ink. This is definitely my favorite flavor!
When you drink it, you will be amazed at how clear it is and how free of any cloying flavors it is. There is a freshness that is reminiscent of a sports drink, perhaps due to the slight citrus-like acidity that can be felt.
The aroma of banana and melon, the modest and elegant sweet, sour, and bitter tastes, all of these elements somehow appear without being jumbled together, and then slowly fade away before you know it.
Isn't this a good thing? Sweet and sour is right in the center of my tastes, but this is a completely different taste, and yet it is too delicious...! It's a taste that goes well with summer.
Personally, I recommend drinking it a little earlier because you can fully enjoy the flavor of this sake until the third day.
It's been a while since I've had a chance to taste it again, and although it's not as sweet and tasty as I had expected, it's more than satisfying. It is more than just a dry food sake. I was very impressed!
