I had the impression that sake made with Asahi rice was sweet, but this one is a light and dry type, which is unusual for a kafuda-shu as it says.
It has a clean, traditional dry taste, but the aroma and flavor are modern and muscat-like. Perhaps due to the low alcohol content, it is dry, but it has a gentle taste.
