Izakaya Monorail Niigata Sake 1️⃣
Following the Kochi Sake event in December and the Tottori Sake event in January, this time it was the Niigata Sake event 😀.
For us, Niigata sake has an image of being a light, dry and very expensive sake 🤣.
I asked Orin what she was going to do this time because it was Niigata Sake and she said she could drink a little more dry sake now, so we decided to attend the event 😀.
We were allocated to 8 sake categories in our car this time, and I was surprised when I looked at the bookmark 😅... there were quite a lot of sake with negative sake content.
Among them, the sake was +4, but very mellow, sharp and tasty.
It also looks like it has gold leaf in it, so I was able to enjoy drinking it with the people at the same table, wondering how much gold leaf was in it 😇.

Hi Yasubeyesan 😃.
It seems that Niigata sake is also divided into sweet and spicy depending on the region 🤗I'm going to step into the dry world a little bit more and broaden my range again👍.

Good evening, Jay & Nobby 😀
I had always assumed that Niigata sake was light and dry, but I had a good rediscovery after having tasted a lot of different Niigata sake 😇.
We need to challenge ourselves 😀.
