Last week was hard work and no drinking 😮💨 midweek, but today I'll take a break and have some sake 🍶.
As winter is approaching, I will have another Kamikawa Taisetsu today. The aroma is sweet with vanilla and honey with a touch of grape astringency.
The first sip has a spiciness along with sweetness and acidity, and the second half has an astringency that disappears after the first sip. I feel that it is easy to match as a food wine. I have paired it with saikyo yaki, blue cheese, and crab cakes and it is delicious 😊I wish I could eat real crab 🦀✨.
