At my usual neighborhood liquor store, I pick up a bottle of Tasake, attracted by the Van Gogh label. The owner told me it was a collaboration with the Izumihashi Sake Brewery in Kanagawa Prefecture. He said they use Kanagawa's sake rice called Raku-fu-mai. The first sip of the sake is gorgeous and spreads quickly. Enjoy the sweetness and aroma, and it finishes quickly. It is delicious.
