The same soft aroma, full-bodied rice flavor, and moderate sweetness as on the top rise spread out with a little gas and soft acidity, leaving a lingering rice flavor that quickly fades away.
The umami of the rice from the middle to the latter half of the bottle is impressive, and it is more suitable to be served with a meal than as a stand-alone wine.
It went well with herring in tomato sauce and simmered taro and squid.
