Yesterday morning we started work on a large job site, and just as we were getting there to begin work, there was a sudden change in the time the site was open, which caused us to have to wait 😅.
I was late getting home, so I decided to have a little drink at a local izakaya for dinner and reset my schedule 🍺🍶.
I was sweating a lot, so I first quenched my thirst with Akaboshi 🍺 and then chose this sake from the menu to start my day 🍶.
Hakutsuru Nama-Shu (Hakutsuru Nama-Shu).
A crisp, alky aroma, a hint of alky sweetness on the palate with a clean umami and sharpness, and finally a sweet, alky aroma on the nose.
I've never had a regular "Hakutsuru" before, but it's not as bad as I thought it would be 😲.
There was also a Hiroshima sake called "Yizuisuishin" that I drank but forgot to take notes💦.

Hi Gyve 🐦.
Thank you for staying up so late in the heat 💦, when it's this hot you need to be able to gulp down some sake before you go 💦.
This sake goes surprisingly well with a meal 😁.

Hi Pon-chan, good evening here too 🌛.
I have not drank much Hakutsuru, the most standard of the standard, but it was a stable taste backed up by the volume of production 😁.
