Another bottle was opened today. Kawanakajima, which I have not had for quite some time since the sake corner at Ikebukuro Seibu was renovated. I have been seeing it at Isego a lot lately, so I bought a bottle of my favorite Huarin.
The gas pressure was so strong that I thought the name of this sake should be "Schwalin. It took 20 minutes to open the bottle....
Gentle and sweet rice aroma. This is it, this is it.
The gentle sweetness precedes and is super pleasant. A refreshing acidity follows.
The sweetness and acidity continue in a fluffy way, and then quickly disappear.
I haven't had it in about two years, but I am happy to say that it is as good as ever. I would like to drink Genmai again, but I doubt I will be able to....
