Tonight's sake is "Shinkame Junmai Seishu One Cup" 🍶.
When I saw this cup of sake at the store, I couldn't help but buy it because it was so adorable 🐢.
It may look like a pop-up, but the contents are the same as regular junmai sake, and it seems to have been aged for more than 2 years!
I tasted it at room temperature and immediately warmed it up... and when it was warmed up to lukewarm, it had a calm matured aroma and an indescribable mellow flavor that spread out in a whirlwind.
Jazz music was playing on NHK radio late night news, and anchor Norio Ishizawa said in a nice, quiet voice, "I'd like to listen to it while drinking whiskey", and I thought, "Shinkame is good too!
With sake lees raisins made with Kamikame's sake lees (w shinkame!). 🐢🐢😆)
You can get lightly drunk on sakekasu raisins alone 😉.
