A drinking buddy gave it to me as a gift 🙌🩷.
I had received Toyo Bijin-sama at a Bijin no Kai and my friend, whose parents live in Yamaguchi Prefecture, bought it as a souvenir on her way back home 🥰.
It's rich, sweet and delicious ‼️ and quite sweet, but it's also very robust 💖.
Yamaguchi prefecture has good soy sauce and miso, and the sweetness has a strong masculine flavor😍.
Today we have fried horse mackerel, low temperature cooked loin ham, edamame, soy milk tofu✨.
The sweetness of the sake was delicious and didn't interfere with any of the dishes! But I'm sure there are better pairings that take advantage of the sweetness? I'm sure there are better pairings out there 🧐.
