Just the day before I was drinking Takasago, so it was a triple relay.
This sake is all about the divine ears, triple yeast and triple! The aroma is subdued, and when you put it in your mouth, the thick sweetness and rice flavor spreads out in a whirlwind. There is also a slight brandy-like flavor in the background. The acidity is moderate, and in the latter half of the bottle, the alcohol taste comes and goes, leaving a lingering umami taste. It is a delicious sake with a lot of flavor.
It is delicious on its own, but would go well with a meal 😊.
