Purchased on the way home from a full marathon in the mountains, battered and bruised.
It had been out of the fridge for a little while, so the sake temperature was about 13 degrees C. That's why the sweet ginjo aroma is complex, with hints of milk and cedar.
The mouthfeel is thick and sweet, but the unique chirichiri-ness of nama-zake makes the sweetness combine well with the sweetness and the sweetness feels just right.
Shintani's Wakamusume is one of my favorite brands!
