Aromatic, moderate, sharp and dry. Modern food sake. The label is easy to recognize.
It is named after Yodo Yamauchi, a lord of the Tosa domain at the end of the Edo period, whose family name was "Geikai Isuikou" (鯨海酔侯). The name "Geikaiseikou" means "drunk lord of the sea with whales," and comes from the fact that Yodo Yamauchi, a lover of sake, called himself such.
