The same fruity aroma as the first rise, the soft sweetness and umami of rice spread out with a little acidity, and the slight bitterness and spiciness of the alcohol make it finish crisp and clean.
This is my favorite green can of the Funaguchi series, which I like to try when I find it this time of year.
Fruity and fresh, you don't feel the alcohol for its strength, but you get drunk very quickly.
It goes well with chicken giblets stewed in soy sauce and soba noodles, which is a recipe taken from the Kenmin Show.
