When opened, the bottle was filled with a "shupon" (a Japanese word meaning "to pour").
No gassy feeling
Slightly ripe melon-like top note
The same fruity aroma as the first sip, with a slight sweetness and a rather robust umami that spreads out with a light acidity, leaving a slightly bitter aftertaste with a lingering rice flavor and a smooth finish.
The overall impression is well-balanced, with neither a strong sweetness nor a strong alcohol taste, making it easy to pair with meals, and of course, it is delicious on its own as well.
It went well with steak, corn soup, and French toast with strawberries and ice cream.
